Dr. Aaron Dotson
Dr. Dotson, a California native and U.S. Army veteran, has served with distinction and trained as a both a combat medic and a nutritionist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Public Health from American Public University, and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) with a specialization in Epidemiology (infectious disease) from Capella University.
As an accomplished Epidemiologist, Dr. Dotson has conducted extensive research on infectious and chronic diseases including COVID-19, Ebola, infertility, diabetes, and influenza. His work has focused on evaluating the efficacy of dietary supplements as potential therapeutic agents for these and other conditions.
Over the course of a 13 ½ year career at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), he contributed significantly to public health through his role on the Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation (CORE) Team. There, he investigated outbreaks linked to pathogens such as Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, and Escherichia coli O157:H7, utilizing genome sequencing to trace sources and inform response strategies.

As the owner of AED Health Consulting, Dr. Aaron Dotson, DrPH, is deeply passionate about CPR education and emergency preparedness. He believes that equipping individuals with life-saving skills like CPR is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen communities and reduce preventable deaths. Through AED Health Consulting, he is committed to promoting hands-on training, public awareness, and access to resources that empower people to act confidently and effectively in critical moments.

Dr. Dotson is also deeply committed to community service. He has volunteered with organizations such as AID Atlanta and Here’s To Life (HTL), which offer critical resources including access to health care, STI testing, counseling, and housing assistance to underserved populations. In 2021, he joined Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms for a Community Awareness Roundtable focused on COVID-19 and vaccine hesitancy in rural communities, helping to educate the public on protective measures and vaccine options.

In addition to his public health work, Dr. Dotson has taught science courses at universities and technical colleges. His ongoing mission is to empower aspiring healthcare professionals and serve as a mentor to those seeking to make a meaningful impact in the field.

Dr. Paul L. Jones, Jr.
Paul L. Jones, Jr. is a distinguished public health professional and researcher from Pensacola, Florida. He graduated from Pensacola State College with an Associate of Arts in Criminology and Psychology. Paul continued his education at the University of South Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Medical Psychology. He received his master's in public health administration from Troy University.
While at Troy, he was awarded the President's Chancellor's Award, named a Troy University Health Ambassador, and received the Costa Rica Health Abroad Scholarship, allowing traveling to Costa Rica to teach global health to undergraduate students at Universidad Iberoamericana also known as UNIBE which is one of Costa Rica's leading universities, specializing in healthcare. Paul is pursuing a doctoral degree in the School of Public Health at Jackson State University, specializing in epidemiology and biostatistics. He is a member of the Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, where he serves as the New Member Intake Coordinator, and the Golden Key International Honor Society, where he was recognized as one of the highest academic achieving students in the program. Paul is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), a nonprofit organization representing public health epidemiologists and the American Public Health Association (APHA).
Professionally, Paul works for a major clinical research organization as a public health nurse (PHNA-BC) and a certified clinical research professional (CCRP), contributing his expertise to advancing health research. His research and therapeutic interests include oncology, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease (CVD), and the social drivers of health affecting African Americans in rural areas. He actively engages in volunteer work focusing on aiding and supporting those in lower socio-economic areas within the Atlanta metropolitan area with United to Serve, a nonprofit organization. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Paul is a successful health and wellness ambassador, educator, and community advocate.
